Leading From the Middle Leadership Development Program

Leading from the Middle is a leadership development program that provides the knowledge and tools to help mid-career and mid-level planning professionals become important leaders within their organizations.

Leading from the Middle is now accepting applications for its inaugural class in DC, to be held this fall.

Leading from the Middle covers the most challenging and relevant topics facing mid-level professionals including:

  • Strategic Communications
  • Values-based Planning
  • Cost-effective Evaluation
  • Building Strong Partnerships
  • Leading Successful Groups
  • Managing Resistance
  • Cultural Competency

The components of the program include:

  • One-of-a-kind design for mid-level planning and community development professionals
  • Six full-day training sessions
  • hree months of one-on-one executive coaching
  • Membership in a growing alumni network of more than in various cities along the East Coast
  • Affordable prices - a sliding scale ranging from $250 to $1,250, based on organization size. (Scholarships available)

Certificate Maintenance
